Your adventure begins with a morning pick up from your Arusha/Moshi hotel or the airport. From there, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park for a full day of unforgettable game viewing. Be prepared to be greeted by troops of baboons at the park entrance. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, with sightings of up to 300 in a single outing! But that’s not all – keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, cape buffalo, giraffes, gazelles, waterbucks, warthogs, hippos, wildebeest, and more. After a thrilling day exploring the park, you’ll be whisked away to Tarangire Ang’ata Tarangire Camp for relaxation, dinner, and a comfortable overnight stay.
Fuel up with an early morning breakfast, check out of your lodge, and grab your packed lunch for the scenic 3-hour drive to Ngorongoro Crater. As you descend into the crater, marvel at the distant soda lake unfolding before you. Prepare for a full day of unforgettable game viewing within the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera – often dubbed the 8th Wonder of the World. Here, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to spot the Big 5 and countless other marvels of nature. With camera in hand, be ready to be captivated by the crater’s breathtaking beauty and the abundance of wildlife it shelters. After your exploration, you’ll be whisked away to Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast, then check out of your lodge with a packed lunch in tow. Embark on a drive to Mto wa Mbu, a unique cultural melting pot where people from over 120 Tanzanian tribes coexist peacefully. After this glimpse into Tanzanian culture, continue your journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for the park’s abundant wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, warthogs, the shy Kirk’s dik-dik, and klipspringers along the escarpment slopes. Leopards and tree-climbing lions, famous for their playful antics, may also be spotted amongst the park’s broken forests and escarpment. Your safari adventure concludes with a scenic drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at the airport (around 4-5 pm) or at your designated location within the city.
