Day 1:

• We’ll greet you bright and early at your hotel in Arusha or Moshi for a quick briefing.
• Journey to Kilimanjaro National Park’s eastern entrance, Marangu Gate (1,860 meters).
• After a smooth registration process, we’ll begin our trek through the captivating rainforest. Keep your eyes peeled for colorful birds singing in the bushes and monkeys swinging through the trees! (Rain gear is recommended, as tropical showers are common.)
• Upon reaching Mandara Hut (2,700 meters), savor a delicious lunch box while taking in the magnificent views.
• Feeling adventurous? Take an optional 30-minute hike to explore the stunning Maundi Crater.
• Following a revitalizing break, we’ll descend back to Marangu Gate, where our driver will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha (arrival between 5 PM and 6 PM).
